I am the photographer behind Yesenia Sanchez Photography; storyteller, and girly girl at heart. I am a firm believer in pursuing what sets your soul on fire! I think we are all searching for this feeling, to find something that fulfills our soul. And it’s completely different for everyone. I found it in my friends and family, who support and love me through every one of my endeavors. Traveling, allowing me to explore every bit of this world, including the little slice I call home. But by far the biggest thing is God. My faith doesn’t just set my soul on fire, it keeps it burning.
Storytelling is also at the top of my list. It’s like buying a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone. Storytelling has allowed me to capture moments full of emotion, inspiration and authenticity.

MY APPROACH
When you love so deep, you go the extra mile to do what it takes to show your loved one that you love them. Hold their hand, kiss their forehead, wrap your arms around their waste, dance together, or maybe just a dip and a kiss. Or you, laugh until your stomach hurts, don’t stop smiling until your cheek bones ache, dance until you can’t no more.
I’m all about movement and less about direction. Just pretend I’m not around, it’s just you, or you and your soulmate together — dancing in the rain, walking in the field, watching as the sun sets. I will never direct you to pose because for me, it’s about real, raw and authentic moments. I may guide you here and there but show me what your love is made of!
